A Good Morning Story

According to the dictionary definition – breakfast is the first meal most often eaten in the early morning. According to Benedict – breakfast is a lifestyle.

We believe that breakfast is a style of meal and not the hours we consume it. Not ‘WHEN you eat’, but ‘WHAT‘ you eat. Benedict’s breakfast kitchen is open for breakfast lovers everywhere, every day, all day. We also always welcome the adventurous convention breakers, for whom breakfast in the evening is a wonderful way to start the night. Our world of breakfasts contains a multitude of flavors, combinations, culinary innovations and surprises. We offer a wide variety of ingredients that come to us from different cultures and traditions, where the morning starts in a different way than we are accustomed to. We create out breakfasts on a foundation of freshness, indulgence and freedom – the fine values that constitute the Benedict Breakfast Experience.

Why Benedict?

Benedict was named after the famous “Eggs Benedict” – a dish invented in the 19th century by Lemuel Benedict, a Wall Street stock broker. One day, Mr. Benedict wandered into the Waldorf Hotel's restaurant hoping to find a cure for his morning hangover. He ordered "buttered toast, poached eggs, crisp bacon, and a hooker of Hollandaise." The restaurant’s maître d'hôtel was so impressed with the spontaneous dish that he put it on the breakfast and luncheon menus.
